1. Who we are (Controller)

This website (cloudplatforms.lv) is operated by SIA “CloudPlatforms” (Reg. No. 40203691527), Tērbatas iela 82A–23, Rīga, LV-1001, Latvia (“CloudPlatforms”, “we”, “us”). We determine the purposes and means of processing personal data submitted via this website and act as data controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What data we collect

When you use our contact forms or otherwise reach out to us, we may collect identification and contact data, including name, email, phone if provided, and company name if provided.

We may also collect message content you voluntarily submit.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of data under Art. 9 GDPR and we do not use third-party marketing analytics on this website.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We process personal data for responding to enquiries and taking pre-contractual steps under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

We process personal data for providing information about our services and keeping business records based on our legitimate interests under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We process personal data for compliance with legal obligations under Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR, where applicable.

Where we rely on consent, for example for optional communications, the basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and you may withdraw consent at any time.

4. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for the website’s basic functionality. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Details are set out in our Cookie Policy.

5. Recipients and processors

We may share data with trusted service providers acting as processors strictly as needed to run this website, for example secure hosting, email delivery, and form handling. These providers act under written data-processing agreements and must implement appropriate security. We do not sell or trade your data.

6. Storage location and international transfers

Data is hosted within the EU/EEA where feasible. We do not intend to transfer personal data to countries outside the EEA. If a transfer becomes necessary, we will ensure appropriate safeguards under GDPR Chapter V, for example EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Retention

We keep contact enquiries and related correspondence for up to 12 months from last interaction, unless a longer period is required for legal claims, accounting, or compliance. After expiry, data is securely deleted or anonymised.

8. Security

We implement technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including access controls, encryption in transit, least-privilege principles, and auditability of critical actions.

9. Your rights

Subject to GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time. This does not affect prior lawful processing.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate of the Republic of Latvia (Datu valsts inspekcija).

10. Automated decision-making
